A systems view of the earthquake forecast
Li Shihui
Strategic Study of CAE 2009, Volume 11, Issue 6, Pages 132-137
The focal point of this paper is to use the principle and method of systems sciences to prove that the standpoint of the mainstream earthquake scientists is unscientific and unreasonable, namely, the earthquake can't be forecasted essentially, and to prove the opposed standpoint is scientific and reasonable, namely, roughly estimate the range of time and location of the strong shock to a certain degree, and lead masses to know beforehand. To have limited space, this paper further proves the conclusion with only 2 examples only.

Frontiers of Medicine 2013, Volume 7, Issue 3, Pages 277-279 doi: 10.1007/s11684-013-0273-3
Channel tropism is investigated and developed through long-term clinical practice. In recent years, the development of channel tropism theory has attracted increasing attention. This study analyzed channel tropism theory and the problems associated with it. Results showed that this theory and systems biology have a similar holistic viewpoint. Systems biology could provide novel insights and platform in the study of channel tropism. Some problems in channel tropism theory, including pharmacology and action mechanism, were investigated.
